  • VISA Information

    Any foreign visitors wishing to enter the Republic of Korea must have a valid passport and obtain an entry visa before landing. But ordinary passport holders from 113 countries who wish to visit Korea temporarily are permitted to enter without a visa according to the visa-exemption agreement or in accordance with principles of reciprocity or national interests. Please click the button ‘VISA Navigator’ to check the agreement status of your country with the Republic of Korea. Please select the purpose of entry as ‘Short Term Visit’ and length of stay as ’90 days or less’

  • K-ETA (Korea Electronic Travel Authorization)

    - Nationals of visa-waived countries and nationals of designated visa-free countries need to apply for a K-ETA.
    -You should apply for the K-ETA at least 72 hours prior to boarding the flight or ship bound for the Republic of Korea. However, due to an unexpected increase of applications, the result may not be notified within 72 hours. Therefore, please apply for the K-ETA in advance.
    -The K-ETA is required for foreign nationals who intend to enter the Republic of Korea for tourism, visiting relatives, participating in events or meetings, or business purposes other than profitable activities.
